After a long time, Sony released the new PlayStation 5 with a new design and extra performance on a good budget. Ps5 is totally different from previous ones the new design is stunning. Ps5 controller is also changed. It is more user friendly than ever. Sony released two varieties of ps5. One is with Blu-ray drive and another one has none. So they are calling it the digital version. This is the only difference between them. Both of them have the same hardware. Both of them can give you 8k UHD up to 6ofps and 4k up to 120 fps.
Ps5 has a custom 7nm AMD Zen 2 CPU. It’s eight cores running at a variable frequency capped at 3.5 GHz. The integrated GPU is also a custom unit based on AMD’s rDNA 2 graphics. The GPU has 36 compute units running at a variable frequency capped at 2.23 GHz. The GPU supports hardware-accelerated real-time ray tracing. The cooling system includes a double-sided cooling fan for air intake. That is 120mm in diameter and 45mm thick
PlayStation 5 has 16 GB of GDDR6 SDRAM. It has an 825 GB SSD. But which will be available only 667 GB because of the OS file. It is custom with 5.5 GB/s speed. So it is not like a 512 GB or 1Tb unit. Nowadays all games are huge in size. For that Sony includes an M.2 (NVME) port to expand storage for more games. The front includes a USB-C port with USB 3.1 Gen 2 and a USB-A port with USB 2.0. The back has two USB-A ports with USB 3.1 Gen 2, an HDMI 2.1 port, Gigabit Ethernet, and a power port. It contains a 350-watt power supply. It also has Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6.
The base version has dimensions of 390 by 260 by 104 mm (15.4 in × 10.2 in × 4.1 in) and 4.5 kilograms (9.9 LB), and the digital version is slightly slimmer, at 390 by 260 by 92 mm (15.4 in × 10.2 in × 3.6 in) and 3.9kilograms (8.6 LB).
PlayStation 5 is cost 499US$. Losing the Blu-ray drive digital version cost 100$ less only 399US$.
